We are a New York architecture and design studio.

Filament Architecture Studio is a full service architecture and interior design firm located in Brooklyn, New York. 

With a commitment to the needs of our clients, we are facilitators who thrive on collaboration, flexibility and problem solving. As your boots on the ground, we serve as your advocate and partner.

The firm is lead by Michelle Krochmal, AIA. Michelle is  registered in the states of New York and California to practice architecture.

Michelle first realized she wanted to be an architect while  reimagining  floor plans of model homes to fit her barbie's lifestyle.  After attending the Cooper Union, Michelle spent the next decade exploring the country, living and practicing architecture in Southern California, San Francisco, and Boston before returning to New York City. Michelle loves a challenge and her best work comes out of the un-workable.
